Terms & Conditions
1. HUAWEI Care+ provide consumers with repairs for HUAWEI handsets devices which cover damages resulting from accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration.
2. Consumers can purchase HUAWEI Care+ Damage Protection for handset devices for 1 Year or for 2 Years.
3. HUAWEI Care+ for 1 Year provides consumers with 1 (one) repair for handset devices which cover damages resulting from accidents such as accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration.
4. HUAWEI Care+ for 2 Years provide consumers with 2 (two) repairs for handset which cover damages resulting from accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration during 2 years from device’s purchase date.
5. Consumers will receive a free battery replacement on the 2nd year of the service for the battery where its capacity is below 85%.
6. HUAWEI Care+ covers only 1(one) or 2(two) repairs during 1(one) or 2(two) years based on the purchased service (HUAWEI Care+ for 1 Year or HUAWEI Care+ for 2 Years).
7. Consumers will pay a service fee when claiming HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection, being a service fee of R499 (four hundred and ninety-nine rand) for each repair.

13. Theft and loss are excluded.

The HUAWEI Care+ Promotion commenced in March 2025 and is ongoing.
The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of HUAWEI Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Organizer).
The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizers.

How much will it cost me to repair my device using HUAWEI Care+?Upon redeeming the HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection for applicable HUAWEI model handsets, wearables, audios, tablet and PC at an authorized HUAWEI Service Centre within South Africa customers will pay a service fee of R499 (four hundred ninety-nine rand) (including Vat) for labor charges.
Participants will pay a service fee of R2999 (two thousand nine hundred ninety-nine rand) when redeeming the Screen Damage Benefits for HUAWEI MATE XT l ULTIMATE DESIGN.
The HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection service fee for the HUAWEI Mate X6 is R1999 (one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine rand).
In case of loss of a single Freebud or charging case, the Participant will qualify for a 50% discount on the replacement cost. -
4. What are the available types of HUAWEI Care+?The types of HUAWEI Care+ are different based on service period:
HUAWEI Care+ (1 Year): Applicable for all HUAWEI devices except for PCs.
HUAWEI Care+ (2 Years): Applicable for all HUAWEI devices.

Only once for one Freebud, customer will pay 50% of the Freebud price to get a new bud, either the right Freebud or left Freebud.

Terms & Conditions
1. HUAWEI Care+ provide consumers with repairs for HUAWEI audio devices which cover damages resulting from accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration.
2. Consumers can purchase HUAWEI Care+ Damage Protection for audio devices for 1 Year or for 2 Years.
3. HUAWEI Care+ for 1 Year provides consumers with 1 (one) repair for audio devices which cover damages resulting from accidents such as accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration.
4. HUAWEI Care+ for 2 Years provide consumers with 2 (two) repairs for audios which cover damages resulting from accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration during 2 years from device’s purchase date.
5. Consumers will receive a free battery replacement on the 2nd year of the service for the battery where its capacity is below 85%.
6. HUAWEI Care+ covers only 1(one) or 2(two) repairs during 1(one) or 2(two) years based on the purchased service (HUAWEI Care+ for 1 Year or HUAWEI Care+ for 2 Years).
7. Consumers will pay a service fee when claiming HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection, being a service fee of R499 (four hundred and ninety-nine rand) for each repair.
8. For Loss Care for audio cover for only one single Freebud, either right Freebud or left Freebud, during the service period, consumers will pay 50% of the Freebud price as a spare part.
9. Free lifetime support for audio device connection issues.
10. Consumers can purchase HUAWEI Care+ with a new device as an additional damage protection within 14 days from the device purchase date.
11. Consumers can claim the HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection from any HUAWEI Authorized Service Center in South Africa (Canal Walk, Cornubia, Menlyn, SSS Cellular and Device Repair Centre).
12. Theft and loss are excluded.
13. Refunds for HUAWEI Care+ (1 Year) or HUAWEI Care + (2 Years) will only be issued if the purchased device is returned. If the device is not returned Care+ will not be refunded. Refund for Care+ will included in the refund for the device.
14. These terms and conditions are only applicable to certain HUAWEI devices and models.
HUAWEI Care+ General Terms and Conditions
The HUAWEI Care+ Promotion commenced in March 2025 and is ongoing.
The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of HUAWEI Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Organizer).
The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizers.
Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizer.
No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizers as a result of any alterations of these terms and conditions.
The Organizer reserves the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organizers notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
The Promotion, any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizers.
Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizers.
No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizers as a result of any alterations of these Terms and Conditions.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organizer for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organizer’s Promotions Website.
In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organizer whatsoever.
In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of these Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organizer’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organizer, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss and/or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.
