Unable to find the cover image in Gallery on my HUAWEI phone

Problem:

The photo taken by another device can be viewed on the album cover in Gallery, but cannot be viewed after entering the album.

Cause:

By default, the cover of an album uses the latest image (if no cover is set). If you select a non-default sorting method or Show date, the album cover image will be displayed at the bottom. As such, you cannot see it after entering the album.

Solution:

You are advised to use either of the following methods to resolve the issue:

1. Go to Gallery > Albums, enter the album in question, and go to > Sort > Reset.
2. Go to Gallery > Albums, enter the album in question, and go to > Hide date.
