Photos taken with my phone do not have geographical location information
  1. Ensure that your phone settings are correct:
    • Open Gallery, go to Settings, and enable Access to Internet and location info and Show location (not available on all phone models).
    • Open Camera, touch or in the upper right corner, then enable Location tag.
  2. Ensure that your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile data network when taking photos or viewing photos in Gallery. A poor reception may result in your phone being unable to obtain your location information.
  3. If Searching for GPS is prompted when taking a photo, please wait until your phone has finished searching.
  4. If the issue persists, please refer to My phone cannot locate its position or positioning is inaccurate.
