Certain third-party apps crash, restart, or run abnormally after Fit is enabled on my HUAWEI phone

Problem:

  1. The user is unable to view third-party apps in full screen on their HUAWEI phone.
  2. After the user taps the option for full-screen display at the bottom of the app screen, the app may crash or restart unexpectedly.

Cause

Some apps are not adapted for use with the device's 18:9 aspect ratio screen.

Solution

  1. If the app cannot be displayed in full screen, you can go to Settings, search for and access Fit or Full-screen display, and enable the switch for the app.
