How to use the graphics settings feature |
Graphics settings is a new feature that is available in Windows 10 version 1803 or later. With this feature, you can now choose a dedicated GPU for certain apps for an optimal performance. Once set, the GPU will be used for certain apps by default. To do this, perform the following:
- Right-click any blank area on the desktop and click Display settings.
- Click About and confirm that your computer meets the system requirements.
- Click Display and then Graphics settings.
- Select Universal app under Choose an app to set preference, select your desired game, click Add, and then click Options.
- Select High performance and then click Save.
Certain apps may be forced to use the on-board graphics cards. In this case, you may not be able to set a graphics card for those apps.
