Unable to measure heart rate on my HUAWEI watch/band
Unable to measure heart rate on my HUAWEI watch/band |
If your watch/band fails to measure heart rate or frequently displays the prompt "Check that the watch is on properly and try again." or "Check that the band is on properly and try again." during a measurement, perform the following to troubleshoot.
Check the device connection status
Open the Huawei Health app, tap Devices, and make sure that your watch/band is properly connected to the Huawei Health app.
Take your device off and put it on again properly
- Fasten the strap about one finger width above your wrist bone to ensure a snug, secure fit that isn't loose enough to cause the device to slide up or down your arm.
- Keep the watch/band and your wrist skin clean and dry. Make sure to wipe off any sweat and clean the sensor area after workouts, to reduce interference. For more information on how to clean and maintain your watch/band, please refer to Cleaning and maintenance guide for wearables.
Enable Continuous heart rate monitoring
Go to Huawei Health > Devices, tap the connected device and then Health monitoring, and enable Continuous heart rate monitoring. Check whether the issue is resolved.
Check the heart rate indicator
If the device is properly worn but still cannot measure heart rate, check whether the heart rate indicator on the rear case is flashing green. If not, restart the device, restore it to its factory settings, and try again.
Once your wearable device is restored to its factory settings, all your personal data will be cleared, transportation card migration will be triggered (if the transportation cards support migration), and access cards and bank cards will be removed. Please exercise caution when performing this operation.
If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. If no Huawei Customer Service Center is available in your city, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for further assistance.
