Unable to change the location where apps downloaded from Microsoft Store are installed

Problem

After the user changes the default storage location of Microsoft Store to the D drive, apps downloaded from Microsoft Store are still installed in the C drive.

Cause

Some apps require high permissions to be installed in a drive other than the C drive.

Solution

It is recommended that you download the apps from their official websites and select the location where you want to install them.
