What is the purpose of the scheduled time frame for an Auto scene?

An Auto scene will run when the set conditions are met, but only during the scheduled time frame. For example, if the Auto scene in which the lights will turn on upon detecting any movement, is set to be effective from 18:00 to 22:00, the lights will only turn on when movement is detected within the 18:00 to 22:00 time frame.
