No sound plays or the volume is low when my HUAWEI FreeBuds/WATCH Buds earphones receive an incoming call or message notification

Perform the following to troubleshoot:

  1. Go to Settings > Sounds & vibration and drag the sliders for Ringer, Messages, Notifications to adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
  2. Go to Settings > Sound & vibration > Do Not Disturb, and disable Do Not Disturb.

If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
