How to enable the Find My Device feature on a Huawei phone?

This information applies to both Huawei phones and tablets.

You can enable the Find Device feature on your Huawei phone or tablet in either of the following ways:

Method 1: Open the Find Device app > Log in to your HUAWEI ID > Tap the device > Tap the Enable button.

Method 2 (This method depends on the system version. Choose the operation based on the applicable scenario.)

Scenario A (EMUI 5.0 or later):

1. Log in to your HUAWEI ID in Settings.

2. Settings > HUAWEI ID > Cloud services > Find Device > Tap the Enable button.

Scenario B (earlier than EMUI 5.0): Settings > Security > Find Device > Tap the Enable button.

⚠️Make sure that Find My Device is enabled on your device.

Method 1 (only for Huawei phones/tablets): Open the Find My Device app > Log in to your HUAWEI ID > Tap the device > Select the device you want to locate.

Method 2 (only for Huawei phones/tablets): Go to Settings > Log in to your HUAWEI ID > Tap Cloud services > Open Find My Device > Select the device you want to locate.

Method 3 (no device restrictions): Click this link > Log in to your HUAWEI ID > Tap Find My Device > Select the device you want to locate.

If you cannot find the "Find My Device" option, please update your system to EMUI 10.1 or a later version. To check or update your system version, go to Settings > System & updates > Software update > CHECK FOR UPDATES.
