Problem
Uneven display or light leakage occurs on the screen in a dark environment.
Cause
When the monitor is used in a dark environment, part of the monitor screen will appear white and it looks like uneven display or light leakage occurs on the screen. This is normal for liquid crystal display (LCD) screens and does not indicate any issues with your monitor. Huawei monitors have passed strict reliability tests before delivery and comply with industry standards.
Solution
Place the monitor in an environment with appropriate ambient light. It is recommended that the monitor is used in an office with appropriate lighting. If this issue persists, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
Do not press down on the edge of the LCD screen with force. For example, it is not recommended that you place a camera on the edge of the LCD screen.
