L2HC is a Huawei-proprietary HD audio codec format that provides a higher bandwidth and adaptive bit rate (320 kbps to 960 kbps). It features a low latency, constant bit rate, strong anti-interference capability, high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and wide dynamic range, providing users with an optimized music streaming experience.

Settings

The earphones provide two audio quality modes. You can set them using the AI Life app or Bluetooth settings on a phone running EMUI 11/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later.

On a phone running EMUI 11.0.0.165/HarmonyOS 2.0 or later, you can use the AI Life app or Bluetooth settings on your phone to enable or disable Smart HD (prioritize audio quality or connection quality).

• Prioritize audio quality: The high-definition Bluetooth codec with high bandwidth and adaptive bit rate is used for an improved voice quality.
• Prioritize connection quality: When the Bluetooth connection is not stable, the system automatically adjusts the bit rate to ensure smooth music playback.
