How do I restart my HUAWEI router |
Method 1: Removing and reconnecting the power cable
Remove the power cable from your router and then reconnect it to restart your router.
Method 2: Using the AI Life App
- Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.
- Open the AI Life App, and touch the target router to access the router management screen.
- Go to Show more > Router settings > Restart router > OK (or go to Devices > Restart router > OK directly).
Method 3: Through the web-based management page
This feature is not supported on some routers.
- Connect your computer/phone to the router's Wi-Fi network (check the nameplate at the bottom of the router for the default Wi-Fi name, which requires no password) , or connect the computer to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable. In the browser's address bar, enter the default IP address and log in to the router's web-based management page(check the nameplate at the bottom of the router for the default IP address).
- For routers that feature WAN/LAN auto-adaptation ports, you do not need to distinguish between WAN and LAN ports.
- If you are connecting your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network, switch your phone's webpage to the PC-based UI before performing the following operations.
- Click the button at the bottom of the page to restart your router.
