Does the router support VPN?

Yes, the router supports the VPN function.

  • VPN transparent transmission is supported. That is, VPN dial-up is required for the LAN-side device.

VPN client is supported. Log in to the web-based management page of the router, go to More Functions > Network Settings > Virtual Private Network to set the parameters. L2TP and PPTP are supported.

 
  • VPN server setup is not supported.
  • The router supports VPN types are L2TP and PPTP, but do not support IPSec.
     
    • L2TP or PPTP cannot be used at the same time.
    • After an L2TP VPN is configured, only the client can access the server. The server cannot access the client.
