- Press Win+R to display the Run window. Enter cmd and select OK.
- Enter diskpart and press Enter.
- Enter list disk and press Enter to view the information about all disks on the computer.
- Enter Select disk 0 and press Enter. (Disk 0 is the first disk. If there are multiple disks, enter the number following disk in ascending order.)
- Enter detail disk and press Enter. The disk ID will then be displayed.
