Voice notes on your HUAWEI watch

Voice notes on your HUAWEI watch

The watch supports recording voice notes, which will then be automatically synced to Notepad on the connected phone.

 
  • To use this feature, first update your watch to its latest version.
  • Actual icons in Notepad may vary by watch.
  • HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series/GT 5 Series/GT 6 Series/GT Runner 2 does not support syncing voice notes to Notepad on your phone.
  • For HUAWEI WATCH 5, presetting is supported only when the watch is updated to version 5.1.0.110 or later.

Recording voice notes

  1. On your watch, enter the app list and tap Notepad.
  2. Tap or . Recording starts when a timer is displayed.
  3. Tap to stop recording.
     
    • After the recording is complete, the voice notes are automatically synced to Notepad on your phone, and the automatic syncing feature is enabled by default. If you don't want to sync voices notes, you can tap the settings icon under Notepad on your watch, and toggle off the Auto-sync to phone Notepad switch. If this switch cannot be found on your watch, it indicates feature unavailability.
    • The recording duration of a single voice note is limited (up to 5 minutes). Pay attention to the recording progress.

Viewing voice notes

Method 1: On your watch

  1. Enter the app list and tap Notepad.
  2. Tap the name of a voice note to enter the details screen.
  3. Tap to play the voice note and tap to adjust the volume.

Method 2: On your phone

Tap Notepad on your phone, and tap the name of a voice note to play it.

Deleting voice notes

  1. Enter the app list and tap Notepad.
  2. Tap the name of a voice note to enter the details screen.
  3. Tap to delete the voice note. If the automatic syncing of voice notes to your phone Notepad is enabled, the voice note will be automatically deleted from your phone.
     
    • In the voice note list, touch and hold a voice note. You will then be able to select multiple notes and delete them in batches. Notes on your watch cannot be restored once deleted. Please exercise caution when performing this operation.
    • The changes made on your phone will not be synced to the watch.
