How to manage HMS Core

HMS Core provides basic services for your Huawei device, such as HUAWEI ID and payments, and does not have a separate icon on the home screen.

You can go to Apps to view and manage its permissions and data usage. The steps are as follows:

EMUI 11.0/10.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, search for "HMS Core", access the App info screen, tap Permissions, and select Allow or Deny for the permission.

EMUI 9.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, search for "HMS Core", access the App info screen, tap Permissions, and enable or disable specific permissions.

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > HMS Core, access the App info screen where you can view the app details, tap Permissions, and allow or deny specific permissions.

If you cannot find HMS Core in the list of Apps, perform the following:

EMUI 11.0/10.X/9.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Apps, then go to > Show system processes.

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps, then go to More > Show system processes.
