You can use your fingerprint to unlock your computer quickly and securely after your fingerprint has been enrolled.
- This operation only applies to laptops or desktop computers that support Fingerprint recognition.
- If your computer comes with HUAWEI Wireless Keyboard (Fingerprint Edition), pair the keyboard with your computer before setting your fingerprint.

Enroll fingerprints
- Click
on the taskbar at the bottom and go to
Settings >
Accounts >
Sign-in options.

- Go to Add a finger), enter the PIN, and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your fingerprint.
- The fingerprint sensor area may vary depending on the model. For laptops and 2-in-1 tablets, the sensor is located on the Power button. For desktop computers and all-in-one computers, the sensor is located on the Fingerprint button on the keyboard.
- If an exception occurs when you enroll your fingerprint, refer to Fingerprint login does not work/Unable to enroll my fingerprint/No option for setting up fingerprint login.
- Set your account login password first. Otherwise, you cannot set a PIN or fingerprint.
- A maximum of 10 fingerprints can be enrolled for each account.

Delete fingerprints
- Click
on the taskbar at the bottom and go to
Settings >
Accounts >
Sign-in options.
- Go to
Once you click Remove, all enrolled fingerprints will be deleted.
. The computer will delete all fingerprints.
