Measuring lactate threshold on your HUAWEI watch

  • For an accurate measurement of your lactate threshold, please first fill in your Profile info (including gender, date of birth, height, and weight) in the Huawei Health app.
  • For optimal accuracy, go to an open area and wait till GPS or GNSS positioning is working properly before starting a measurement.
  • Lactate threshold measurements are most accurate when your heart rate remains within a specified range and your pace stays relatively consistent.
  1. On your watch, enter the app list, and tap Workout.
  2. You can start a measurement by performing either of the following (depending on your device):
    • Tap Outdoor run to enter the workout screen, swipe up to access More, and tap Lactate threshold. Confirm the information and tap OK.
    • Tap next to Outdoor run and tap Lactate threshold. Confirm the information and tap OK.
  3. Make sure you're able to meet the specified measurement requirements, tap OK, and follow the onscreen instructions to start a measurement.

  4. After the measurement is done, navigate to Workout records to view the result.
