Failed to install some apps updated through Petal Search

Failed to install some apps updated through Petal Search

Problem:

The system indicates that some apps downloaded through Petal Search need to be updated. However, when I touch UPDATE to download and install the installation packages, the system indicates that they can't be installed.

Cause:

The versions of these apps you have installed are significantly different from the latest versions of the apps. As a result, they cannot be updated.

Solution:

You can uninstall these old versions of the apps, search for the apps in Petal Search, and install the latest versions of the apps. If the issue persists, go to Petal Search > Me > Feedback to report the issue and provide the following information:
  • Name of the app to be updated
  • App source
  • Search language and region
  • Petal Search version: To view your Petal Search version, go to Petal Search > Me > About.
  • Phone model and EMUI version: To view your phone model and EMUI version, go to Settings > About phone.
