- Check Compatibility: Ensure your Huawei tablet is compatible with the keyboard. You can refer to the 《Compatibility between HUAWEI tablets and keyboards》.
- Turn on Bluetooth/NearLink: On your tablet, enable Bluetooth (or touch Settings and enable Bluetooth) or NearLink (or go to and enable NearLink).
- Attach/Fix in Place:
- Align the back of the tablet with the back shell area of the keyboard and attach it magnetically or insert it into the slot. Then, clip the bottom of the tablet into the keyboard groove.
- Some keyboards have smart contacts; please align the contacts on the tablet with those on the keyboard when connecting.
If connection fails, try wiping the contact points on the keyboard and the corresponding attachment position on the tablet with a paper towel.
- Align the back of the tablet with the back shell area of the keyboard and attach it magnetically or insert it into the slot. Then, clip the bottom of the tablet into the keyboard groove.
- Confirm Connection in Pop-up: Touch CONNECT in the displayed dialog box.On the connection success screen, touch OK. The smart magnetic keyboard can be used properly.
Once the first connection is complete, the keyboard will automatically connect to the tablet for future use once the two are within the Bluetooth connection range, and no connection dialog box will be displayed.
