I forgot my HUAWEI ID password, what should I do?

You can reset the password using the following methods:

Situation 1: Previous linked phone number or email address account still in use

  • Mobile phone/tablet:

    If you have not logged in with your HUAWEI ID, please go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Forgot password?

    If you have logged in with your HUAWEI ID, please go to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Account security > Security center and click Reset password.

  • Mobile phone/computer browser:

    go to Website link: https://forgot.cloud.huawei.com/

For European users,if you cannot retrieve your password, click the link and complete the Huawei ID Password Retrieving Appeal.

The turnaround time is usually 1-2 business days and additional information can be asked from the customer.

After going through the password appeal successfully we will delete your security questions in order to get you access to your account.

Password Setting Rules

Your password must meet the following rules:

①Contain at least 8 characters.

②Include both letters and numbers,and no spaces.

③The same character can't be used 3 times or more in a row.

Situation 2: Previous linked phone number or email address account no longer in use

Please make self-service appeals on frequently used devices and change accounts.

  • Mobile phone/tablet:

    If you have not logged in on your mobile phone, go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Forgot Password > Account change request.

    If you have logged in on your mobile phone: Settings > HUAWEI ID > Account Security > Security Centre > Change account.

  • Mobile phone/computer browser:

  • After you submits the request, an SMS message will be sent to you to receive the complaint result 15 minutes later and within three days at the latest. After receiving the result, you can use the new mobile number or email address to receive the verification code to change the password.
  • When providing your phone number, please make sure to add + followed by your country code. Otherwise the SMS might not be sent correctly.
