My HUAWEI earphones are slow to reconnect and the pairing prompt takes a long time to be displayed
  • To save battery power, the earphones will be initialized and wake up when they are powered on or when the charging case is opened, before connecting to your phone/tablet. It is normal for this process to take some time, and it does not indicate an issue with your device.

    If you are using HUAWEI FreeLace Pro 2, after you flip the Power switch to power the earphones on, then connect the earphones to a HUAWEI phone/tablet that they were once paired with, it takes about 18 to 20 seconds for the pairing prompt to display.

  • Earphones which support dual connection and are paired with two devices will connect to those two devices in sequence when the charging case is opened/the earphones are separated from each other (when they are powered on). The second device will normally take longer to connect.
