Photos and videos shot by the rear cameras are blurry

Blurry photos shot by rear cameras are usually caused by a dirty lens, focusing failure, or camera shake. Perform the following steps to troubleshoot:

Check whether there is a protective film, smudges, or other foreign objects on the camera

If you are using a protective case that does not come with your phone, or if there is a protective film attached on or around the camera, the light transmission performance and focus of the camera lens may be affected. Hold your phone steady when taking photos. Especially when zooming in to shoot distant objects, use an appropriate zoom level. You can try using a tripod or a smartphone gimbal or setting a timer to reduce camera shake. If your headphones support remote camera control, you can connect them to your phone and use the volume button as the shutter.

Check whether the blurry photos are shot in Night or Super night mode

In some camera modes, it takes a while to finish processing a photo. For example, Night or Super night mode requires longer exposure times, so any phone or object movement can lead to blurry photos or videos. Therefore, keep your phone stable during shooting. A tripod is recommended for night photos.

Check whether the blurry photos are shot in Portrait mode

Portrait mode automatically blurs the background to make the subject stand out. Such blur is normal. If you do not want the background blur effect, switch to another mode.
