Express Repair FAQ
1. What is Postal repair process?
a) Apply for repairs on the website, fill in the application information
b) Please read term & condition then Submit it
c) Logistics courier will contact you to collect products for repair
d) Repair is completed, Device is returned to where device was collected
2. What is the warranty policy?
a) For out of Warranty repair, the Repair Service center will send a quotation to customer via email to confirm the quotation
b) In Warranty repair (Still in Warranty and no physical damage found) Repair will be completed in warranty
3. What is a quotation?
If your device out of warranty, you will receive a quotation, you can view the Warranty policy at https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/warranty-policy/ Once payment is made for the quotation , please reply to the email address from which you received the quotation and attach payment thereafter repairs will commence .
4. When is the collection date?
Please note that collections occur from Monday to Friday between 8h00 and 17h00 except public holidays and weekends, kindly note that the date you provide us is just for booking purpose, it does not necessarily mean that RAM couriers will come as requested, turnaround time is 24 to 72 business hours(calculated time from creation of logistics order and depending on the collection area. )
5. How long will the repair take?
The repair time depends on the service center's repair time; normally after the service center receives your device 7-14 business days.
