[Huawei] Unable to receive any notifications when the kids watch enters/exits a safe zone

If you can't receive any notifications in the HUAWEI FamCare app when the kids watch enters/exits a safe zone, perform operations based on the following scenarios.

Unable to receive other message notifications, such as chat notifications

If you can't receive any message notifications, check your phone settings:

  • Android/HarmonyOS phones: Go to Settings and enable Allow auto-launch or Allow Notifications for the HUAWEI FamCare app.
  • iOS phones: Go to Settings > Notifications, select the HUAWEI FamCare app, and enable Allow Notifications.

Unable to receive notifications when the watch enters/exits a safe zone and is in Power Saving mode

If the battery level is lower than 10%, the watch will enter Power Saving mode. In this mode, you will not be able to receive notifications when the watch enters/exits a safe zone. In this case, it is recommended that you charge the watch before using it.

Only unable to receive notifications indicating the watch has entered/exited a safe zone

If you are only unable to receive notifications indicating the watch has entered/exited a safe zone, it is recommended that you check whether the safe zones are correctly configured, including the feature switch, addresses, and ranges:

  1. Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner, and touch Safe Zones.
  2. Check whether the Safe Zone feature is enabled.
  3. Touch a safe zone you have set to enter the editing screen and check whether the watch is in the safe zone and whether Repeat is set correctly.
  4. Check whether the watch has entered/exited a specific safe zone and adjust its range based on the actual situation.

If you set a safe zone for the next day in the HUAWEI FamCare app, you will only receive notifications indicating that the watch has entered/exited the safe zone after 00:00 the next day. If you want to receive such notifications for the current day, set a safe zone for the current day.
