Problem
When the monitor is connected to a host (a laptop or desktop), sound is not played from the monitor.
Cause
After the monitor is connected to a host (a laptop or desktop), the MateView audio device will be added to the host. If you want the monitor to play sound, select the monitor as the playback device.
Solution
1. After the monitor is connected to a host (a laptop or desktop), click the 
icon in the lower right corner of the desktop. You will then see the MateView audio device as one of the host's playback devices, as shown in the following figure. Select this device as the playback device.
2. After the monitor is connected to a host (a laptop or desktop), right-click the icon in the lower right corner of the desktop, select Open Sound settings to enter the Sound settings screen, and select the MateView device under Choose your output device.
3. After the monitor is connected to a host (a laptop or desktop), it is recommended that you reconnect the HDMI cable, DP cable, USB-C cable, and power cable and try again if the MateView audio device is not displayed as one of the host's playback devices or sound is still not played from the monitor after the monitor is selected as the playback device.
