Unable to switch the input method language when I connect my HUAWEI tablet to a keyboard by pressing Ctrl + Shift

Problem

After a physical keyboard is connected, pressing Ctrl + Shift to switch the language does not take effect when entering the account and password in the input box (such as the input box of a Huawei email account and password, and lock screen password).

Cause

When you enter the account or password in the input box, the physical keyboard uses the system's default language layout, and does not switch with the Celia Keyboard. Therefore, pressing Ctrl + Shift does not switch the language. In this case, you will need to press Ctrl + Space to switch the system language.

Solution

1. Press Ctrl + Space to switch the language when you enter the account or password in the input box.

2. Press Ctrl + Shift to switch the language in other circumstances.
