As part of HUAWEI's service giving, certain models will be eligible for the Preferential Screen Replacement event. Additionally, these models can enjoy a up to 50% discount on spare parts and it comes with original screen. The final price will be based on the "Spare Parts Price” query result.

* For smartphones and tablets, the replacement is for the front screen component.
* The HUAWEI Mate X3 and HUAWEI Mate X6 only support interior screen replacement. The exterior screen is not part of this promotion.

Devices with faulty screens are eligible for Preferential Screen Replacement.
* Devices with screen display issues or cracks and without unauthorized disassembly or repair, are eligible for this activity, subject to HUAWEI Authorized Service Center inspection.
* The original faulty screen that was replaced must be returned to the HUAWEI Authorized Service Center.
The screen undergoes 13 production processes and 8 inspection procedures to strictly control its quality.
This initiative helps reduce electronic waste and minimizes environmental pollution.

1. What is the difference between a Preferential Screen and a new screen?
A new screen is brand new, whereas a Preferential Screen is a refurbished screen. The idea is designed to reduce the repair costs by reusing screens that were replaced by consumers at HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers. These screens are then repaired and tested at high level repair centers to ensure they are functional, with only minor cosmetic defects.
Preferential Screens are cheaper due to lower production costs but still come with a minimum 90-day warranty, just like new screens. -
2. Why other models not eligible for this promotion?
We apologize for the limited availability. Currently, the program is available only for selected models. HUAWEI will gradually expand the program to include more models, allowing more consumers to benefit from preferential screen repair services. Thank you for your understanding and support.

3. Can I participate in the "Preferential Screen Replacement" program if I have a Screen Damage Protection or Extended Warranty?
If your device is covered by Screen Damage Protection and is still within the service period, you cannot participate in the Preferential Screen Replacement program. However, if your device has Extended Warranty, you can still participate regardless of whether the plan is active or not, provided the device meets the criteria.

4. Can the "Preferential Screen Replacement" promotion be combined with other offers such as Service Day?
Since the Preferential Screen Replacement is already a discounted repair service, it cannot be combined with other Service Day promotions.

5. What is the value of my old screen?
HUAWEI does not evaluate the trade-in value of your old screen. The screens we collect are primarily used in the production of the "Preferential Screen Replacement" to benefit more customers. As such, we do not offer a specific buyback value for old screens.

6. Is there a warranty for the Preferential Screen after replacement?
For participating smartphones and tablets, the Preferential Screen comes with either the original device warranty or a 90-day warranty (whichever is longer).
