If the screen does not turn on or occasionally turns on after you pick up your phone, perform the following steps to troubleshoot:
Screen does not turn on when picking up your phone
Search for and access Wake device or Raise to wake in Settings, and turn on the switch.
Screen occasionally turns on when picking up your phone
- Your movements when picking up the phone may not have been detected.
- Raise the phone at a larger angle, so that the motion is more easily detected by the sensor.
- Raise the phone more quickly, as slow movements may be harder to detect.
- Search for and access Wake device or Raise to wake in Settings, and follow the onscreen instructions for picking up your phone.
- The proximity sensor may have been blocked by a protective case.
Try removing the protective case or non-transparent screen protective film, and use a protective case purchased from an official source.
- Update the system to the latest version
It is recommended that you update the system to the latest version and try once again.
