Before inserting a SIM card into a HUAWEI kids watch, make sure that the SIM card has been activated for cellular data and SMS services, and that the HUAWEI FamCare app and the kids watch have been updated to their latest versions.

Unable to receive any verification codes for kids watch linking

Remove the SIM card from your watch after connecting your watch to a Wi-Fi network, insert the card to your phone, and try again to see whether you can receive the verification code on your phone.
  • If you can receive the verification code, enter the verification code and insert the SIM card into the watch again to finish linking.
  • If you cannot receive any verification codes, there may an issue with the SIM card service. In this case, contact your carrier to check whether the data and SMS services are normal.

    If there is just an issue with the services, contact your carrier, wait until the SMS and data services return to normal, and try again.

    If the services are normal, the issue may be caused by the network. In this case, it is recommended that you try again later or somewhere else.

  • If your watch has Multi-SIM service, you may receive the SMS verification code on your phone but not on your watch. In this case, check the verification code on your phone.
  • Ensure that you enter the correct country code for your watch number. Otherwise, you will not receive the verification code.
  • There may be a delay in receiving the verification code. In this case, instruct the user to wait for a while and press and hold the Home button to restart the watch and then try again.

An error message is displayed after I enter the verification code to register or log in to the watch's account

  • Exit the linking process and try again.
  • If the message "Too many incorrect attempts have been made. Try again in 24 hours." is displayed, wait 24 hours and use a correct verification code to register or log in to the watch's account.

When I use the verification code to register an account for my watch, the message "Unable to get code. Please try again." is displayed
