Indicators on the Caps key on the keyboard

The HUAWEI Magnetic Keyboard that is designed for the HUAWEI MatePad Pro comes with an indicator on the Caps key.

You can find out whether the tablet is faulty and obtain other useful information by checking this indicator:

  1. The indicator turns on for 1 second and turns off for 1 second:

    The keyboard's battery has power and has been detected by the tablet.

  2. The indicator turns on for 1 second and turns off for 3 seconds:

    The keyboard's battery has power but has not been detected by the tablet.

  3. The indicator is on or off steadily. Pressing the Caps key switches between different statuses:

    The keyboard is connected properly.

  4. The indicator is off:

    The keyboard is in Sleep mode. (The keyboard will go to sleep after being left idle for 15 seconds. Press any key on the keyboard to wake it up.)

The keyboard is powered off. (The keyboard has run out of power or the tablet is not plugged into the keyboard.)
