If you are not the main admin

You'll need to obtain the approval of the main admin if you wish to link with the kids watch. Wait for or notify the main admin to approve the linking application in the HUAWEI FamCare app.

If you are the main admin

This message indicates that the HUAWEI ID logged in to the HUAWEI FamCare app on your phone is not the main admin account. The HUAWEI ID displayed on the linking screen of the HUAWEI FamCare app is the main admin account, as shown in the following figure. Perform the following operations based on the HUAWEI ID displayed:

  1. If the HUAWEI ID displayed is a phone number, for example, 153****8023

    Log out of the current account logged in to HUAWEI FamCare and log in to the main admin account displayed. To do so, open the HUAWEI FamCare app, tap I'm the main admin, and log out of the current non-admin account.

    If you have forgotten the password of the main admin account or the phone number has been disabled, you can submit a request to retrieve the account.

    • If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center to restore your device to its factory settings.
  2. If the HUAWEI ID displayed is a Petal Mail address, for example, ********@****lmail.com

    This indicates that the main admin's HUAWEI ID is a Petal Mail address. Try to recall the Petal Mail address and use it to log in to the HUAWEI FamCare app.

    If you have forgotten the Petal Mail address, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance. We will do our best to address your needs.

  3. If the HUAWEI ID displayed is a Login ID (for example, hid******, WX*****ac, hw_ followed by a phone number, or any other unfamiliar number)
