My HUAWEI watch/band cannot automatically power on when placed on the charging cradle after powering off due to low battery |
Problem
HUAWEI watches/bands cannot automatically power on when placed on the charging cradle after powering off due to low battery.
Cause
Considering the characteristics of lithium batteries and battery safety, the system will charge the watch/band based on its low battery level after it powers off due to low battery. If the watch/band is overdischarged, it will take some time to compensate for the power loss caused by overdischarge after the watch/band is placed on the charging cradle.
Solution
- Place your watch/band on the charging cradle, connect the charging cradle to the power adapter, and wait for 10 minutes. If the device displays the charging icon or battery level, it indicates that the charging is normal and the device will automatically power on.
- When the HUAWEI WATCH 3 or HUAWEI WATCH 4 Series powers off due to low battery, the charging icon is displayed when the device is connected to the charger. The device can be powered on when the battery level exceeds 8% (charging takes about 5 to 10 minutes). When the HUAWEI WATCH 5 Series powers off due to low battery, the charging icon is displayed when the device is connected to the charger. The device can be powered on when the battery level exceeds 12% (charging takes about 7 to 15 minutes with the standard charging cradle).
- If the device still cannot be powered on after 1 hour of charging, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
