There are no shortcuts or wearing detection options for HUAWEI FreeBuds series earphones on my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Problem

The Bluetooth settings on the phone/tablet do not include options for earphones, such as Smart wear detection, Audio broadcasts, Sound quality, Noise cancellation, Find Earphones, Record with earphones, or HD calls.

Cause

The EMUI version or AudioAccessoryManager version is not updated.

Solution

  1. Update your phone/tablet to the latest EMUI or HarmonyOS version.
  2. Update AudioAccessoryManager to the latest version.

You can also open the AI Life app, and touch the earphones card to configure the settings.
