The AI Life app fails to find my HUAWEI earbuds

Pair your HUAWEI Bluetooth earbuds with a Bluetooth device such as a phone, tablet, or computer. If the AI Life app fails to find the earbuds, or if you are unable to manually add the earbuds, perform the following steps:

  1. Update the AI Life app to the latest version. You can search for the app in AppGallery or other app stores to check whether the app is of the latest version. For details, see Download, install and update the HUAWEI AI Life app.
  2. Update the earbuds to the latest version. For details, see Firmware and software update guide for HUAWEI earbuds.
  3. Restore the earbuds to factory settings. For details, see How to reset HUAWEI earbuds or restore them to their factory settings.
  1. After the earbuds are restored to their factory settings, the indicator on the charging case will flash white and the earbuds will enter Pairing mode. You can go to the Bluetooth settings screen on your phone to connect the earbuds.
    1. If you are using an Android/HarmonyOS phone, an earbuds' card will be added by default to the AI Life app.
    2. If you are using an iPhone, you'll need to scan for the earbuds again or add them manually. You can add the earbuds by going to the home screen of the AI Life app, tapping + in the upper right corner and then Add device, and tapping Connect on the displayed earbuds model. You can also select Add manually or Scan code to add the earbuds.
      • Manually add: Go to Add manually > Entertainment > Earbuds, select the target earbuds, and follow the onscreen instructions to connect them.

If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
