HUAWEI Support South Africa

1. Introduction

1.1 HUAWEI Service Giving Season (“Promotion”) is organized and managed by HUAWEI Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“HUAWEI”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organizers”).

1.2 This Promotion is comprised of:

• Free Labor for device repair;

• Free Screen Protector;

• Battery Replacement for R 249;

• HUAWEI Care+ discounts; and

• Free Gifts.

(“collectively referred to as “Promotion”).

1.3 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.

1.4 By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.

1.5 This Promotion will run from 1st November 2025 – 15th January 2026, (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).

1.6 The Promotion deals exclusively with HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers within the Republic of South Africa.

1.7 Only Promotion devices as set out in https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/service-giving-season-2025/ will qualify for this Promotion.

2. Claiming the Promotion

1. Free Gifts

a) Participant will receive a free gift after having their device repaired. (Free gifts may vary from wearable straps, chargers, phone cover and vouchers). For more information, please visit one of the HUAWEI Authorized Service Center Menlyn Mall or Cornubia.

b) Gifts may vary depending on the specific store, first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last. For more information, please visit the HUAWEI Customer Service Center.

c) HUAWEI will not be responsible for any losses and/or damages, unauthorized use, or distribution of the Free gifts.

d) Free Gifts will not be refundable for returned purchased goods.

e) HUAWEI Authorized Service Center SSS Cellular Boksburg will not be offering free gift.

2. Free Screen Protector

a) The Screen Protector is subject to a first come first serve basis, while stock lasts and subject to availability.

b) Promotion Participants are required to check if there are any issues such as air bubbles, dust specks and/ or wrong positioning of the Screen Protector before leaving the HUAWEI Authorized Service Center, failing which HUAWEI will not reapply the Customized Screen Protector.

Promotion Participants are only entitled to receive 1 (one) Screen Protector per qualifying promotion device as set out at https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/service-giving-season-2025/ during the promotion period.

c) The warranty for Customized Screen Protector is for 3 (three) months from fitment date and only covers the specific part that was replaced, provided there is no physical and/or liquid damage.

d) Normal wear and tear are not covered by the Screen Protector warranty.

e) HUAWEI Authorized Service Center SSS Cellular Boksburg will not be offering the free screen protector.

3. Battery Replacement Starting from R 249 (Two Hundred and Forty-Nine Rand)

Participants must:

a) have one of the qualifying promotion devices as set out at https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/service-giving-season-2025/;

b) take the qualifying promotion device to one of the HUAWEI Authorized Service Center located within the Republic of South Africa;

c) request a replacement of their battery for their qualifying promotion device starting from R 249 (Two Hundred Forty-Nine Rand) inclusive of VAT and labor charges;

d) Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty;

e) Promotion Participants are only entitled to receive 1 (one) battery replacement per qualifying promotion device during the promotion period; and

f) Battery replacement is subject to a first come first serve basis, while stock lasts and subject to availability. The warranty for Battery Replacement is for 3 (three) months from fitment date and only covers the specific part that was replaced, provided there is no physical and/or liquid damage.

4. Free Labor on repairs

a) Save up to R 350(three hundred and fifty rand) for free labor on repairs.

5. HUAWEI Care+

a) HUAWEI Care+ provides consumers with repairs for HUAWEI handsets devices which cover damages resulting from accidental drops, impacts, water and/or liquid penetration.

b) Consumers can purchase HUAWEI Care+ Damage Protection for applicable qualifying devices for 1 Year or for 2 Years at a discounted rate.

c) You can visit HUAWEI Authorized Service Center located in Menlyn Mall, Sandton City, SSS Cellular Boksburg, Cornubia and Tyger valley. HUAWEI Care+ Discount offer is only applicable to Menlyn Mall, Sandton Cit and Cornubia Mall stores.

d) Consumers will pay a service fee when claiming HUAWEI Care+ Accidental Damage Protection, being a service fee of R 499 (four hundred and ninety-nine rand) for each repair.

e) Consumers will pay a service fee of R 2999 (two thousand nine hundred ninety-nine rand) when redeeming the Screen Damage Benefits for the HUAWEI MATE XT l ULTIMATE DESIGN.

f) The Service fee for the HUAWEI Mate X6 is R 1999 (one thousand nine hundred ninety-nine rand).

6. General Terms and Conditions

a. The Promotion is valid from 1st November 2025 – 15th January 2026.

b. The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organizer’s.

c. The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizer’s. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizer’s. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizer’s as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.

d. The Organizer reserves the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organizer notifies the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.

e. The Promotion, any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizer’s. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizer’s. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizer as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.

f. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organizer for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organizer’s Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organizer whatsoever.

g. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organizer’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

h. All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organizer, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.

j. South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
