Problem:

The message asking the users not to cover the area around the rear cameras displays when the user is using the camera on their HUAWEI phone.

Reply:

• There is a laser-assisted autofocus sensor or a ToF 3D distance sensor near the rear cameras.
• If you attach a protective film to the protruding camera lens or install a non-official protective case, the laser sensor may be blocked, causing the laser/3D function to be abnormal. As a result, the phone displays the message. Please remove the protective film from the lens or remove the non-official protective case.
• If the preceding solutions do not resolve the issue, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
