Difference between powering off the Vision and turning off its screen

After you press the Power button on the remote control, you will see three options: Asleep, Off, and Restart. The difference between powering off the Vision and turning off its screen is as follows:

  • Turn off the screen: The screen is turned off, apps exit automatically, but the Internet remains connected.
  • Power off the device: Your Vision is shut down and apps exit automatically. Less power is consumed when the device is powered off.

The HUAWEI Vision provides lighting effects and a power indicator, from which you can determine the status of the HUAWEI Vision.

  • Lighting effects: Enabled by default, and can be disabled by going to Settings > General > Lighting effects > Lighting effects.
  • Power indicator: Enabled by default, and can be disabled by going to Settings > General > Lighting effects > Power indicator.
