Disclaimer

1. HUAWEI Care - Official Battery Replacement Service (“service”) is limited to the purchase of selected device models in South Africa. The validity period is 30 (thirty) days after purchase of the service. Click to view to purchase models.

2. Service includes battery replacement service provided by HUAWEI at an authorized service center, certified repair engineer and official detection and repair process.

3. If this service is not used within the validity period (30) thirty) days after date of purchase and a refund has not been requested, HUAWEI will automatically refund the purchase price of the service on the 30th (thirtieth) day after purchase. The refund will be returned to the original payment account within 7 (seven) working days.

4. The service cannot be returned or exchanged at any time within the validity period. If the service is not used, the system will automatically refund after the expiration date. 

5. Please read the service “Details" carefully before purchasing, your paid purchase of the service will be deemed as you understand and agree to the content of the details.

6. After the purchase of the service, the battery will be replaced at a Huawei authorized service center.

    Answer: Online, the battery is available for R149 only from 8th September to 31st December, while in-store, it is priced at R249.

    Answer: These prices are all inclusive, including both the actual battery and the installation service at any one of the participating Authorized HUAWEI Service Centers.

    Answer: Yes, we offer free postal delivery for online orders. (Collect, repair & Return in South Africa only)

    Answer: Yes, our batteries come with 3 (three) months from fitment date for the part only for your peace of mind.

HUAWEI Online Store: Battery Replacement Service Promotion
Terms & Conditions
8th September 2023 – 31st December 2023
1. Introduction
1.1 Battery Replacement Service Promotion (“Promotion”) is organized and managed by Huawei Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Organizer”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organizers”).
1.2 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
1.3 By entering the Promotion, all Promotion Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
1.4 This Promotion will run from 8th September 2023 – 31st December 2023, (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
1.5 The Promotion of the Battery replacement will cost R149 (“Promotion”) and deals exclusively with the HUAWEI Online store only, https://consumer.huawei.com/za/shop/battery-purchase/
2. Battery Replacement Service Promotion Description
2.1 The Organizer only makes use of original HUAWEI batteries.
2.2 This Promotion is provided by HUAWEI ASCE’s, certified repair engineers and official detection and repair process.
2.3 The warranty for this Promotion is for 3 (three) months from fitment date and only covers the specific part that was replaced, provided there is no physical and/or liquid damage.
2.4 If this Promotion is purchased on the HUAWEI Online store only, participants will receive the Promotion at R149 (one hundred and forty nine rand) as opposed to the normal price of R249 (two hundred and forty nine rand).
2.5 Once this Promotion has been purchased from the HUAWEI online store and the device has been booked at an HUAWEI authorized service center, the participant’s battery will be replaced with a 100% original HUAWEI battery.
2.6 Free Postal Services are available (collect, repair & return) whereby the Organizer’s postal agent will provide free postal services which are limited to 1(one) purchase of the Promotion per participant.
2.7 Participate in this Promotion by directly going to an authorized HUAWEI service center store of your choice, or make use of the option to make an online reservation at (https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/ ).
2.8 This Promotion is only applicable to selected HUAWEI device models in South Africa.

2.10 The replaced battery will be disposed of, and will not be returned to the customer and will become the property of the Organizer.
2.11 HUAWEI authorized service center will hand over old batteries to a specialized environmental recycling company for recycling purposes.
2.12 The Organizer reserves the right to amend, change, or delete any portion and/or all these terms and conditions without prior notice.
2.13 Participants are only entitled to receive one battery replacement each.
3. Refund
3.1 If this Promotion is not used within the validity period 30 (thirty) days after purchase of the Promotion, Participants call HUAWEI Customer Service hotline on 0860861111 to request a refund.
3.2 The refund will be returned to the original payment account within 7(seven) working days. If this Promotion is not used within the validity period of 30(thirty) days after purchase of the Promotion and the refund has not been requested, the Organizer will refund Participants the purchase price of the Promotion automatically on the 30th (thirtieth) day after purchase.
3.3 The refund will be returned to the original payment account within 7 (seven)working days given by the Participant to the Organizer.
3.4 Once the replacement battery has been installed no refunds will be issued.
4. General Terms and Conditions
4.1 The Promotion is valid from 8th September 2023 – 31st December 2023.
4.2 The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organizer.
4.3 The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
4.4 The Organisers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organisers notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
4.5 The Promotion, any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.
4.6 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organisers for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organisers Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers whatsoever.
4.7 In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.8 All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organisers, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.
4.9 All personal information of the Promotion Participants will be strictly made use of to provide the Promotion and will be stored in a secure repository and not transferred to any third party. 4.10 South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
