Create or change a power plan on a HUAWEI computer

You can set desired customized power plan for your computer. Click the following links to redirect to the corresponding operations:

Create a power plan

  1. Enter "Control Panel" in the taskbar search box and open it. Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.

  2. By default, the computer has only the Balanced mode. To use other power plans, click Create a power plan, enter a plan name (or use the default name), and click Next.

  3. Select your desired sleep and display settings. Set the time for Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep when the computer is On battery or Plugged in, and click Create.

Change a power plan

  1. Enter "Control Panel" in the taskbar search box and open it. Go to Hardware and Sound > Power Options.

  2. Under the selected plan, click Change plan settings next to the power plan you want to modify.

  3. Set the time for Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep when the computer is On battery or Plugged in, and click Save changes.
