• If there is a black screen, incomplete screen display, white bars, splash screen after powering on, the inner screen may also be damaged

• If visible cracks are found on the outer surface under light. This means that only the external screen is damaged and can be replaced separately

• If distinctly different cracks are found on the inner and outer surfaces in the light, the inner screen is also damaged

Ongoing
1. Introduction
1.1 Screen Glass Replacement Service Promotion (“Promotion”) is organized and managed by HUAWEI Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Organizer”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organizers”).
1.2 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
1.3 By entering the Promotion, all Promotion Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
1.4 This Promotion is ongoing and will be terminated by organizers without notice, (the “Promotion Period”).
1.5 The Promotion deals with Device Repair Centre’s “DRC” within the Republic of South Africa.
2. Screen Glass Replacement Service Promotion
2.1 The Organiser only makes use of original HUAWEI screen glass.
2.2 The screen glass replacement service is provided by HUAWEI authorized service centre’s “ASCE’s”, certified repair engineers and official detection and repair process.
2.3 The warranty for this Promotion is for 30 (thirty) days from fitment date and only covers the specific part that was replaced, provided there is no physical and/or liquid damage.
2.4 This Promotion is only applicable to selected HUAWEI device models in South Africa which are subject to a first- come, first serve- basis and while stock lasts.
2.5 This Promotion is applicable to selected HUAWEI device as indicated on the official support website – https://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/screen-repair/#models
2.6 Applicable only to broken external screen, excluding other issues and repairs.
2.7 All walk-in participants are entitled to participate in this promotion.
2.8 The replaced glass screen will be disposed of, will not be returned to the customer and will become the property of the Organizer.
2.9 HUAWEI authorized service center will hand over glass screens to a specialized environmental recycling company for recycling purposes.
2.10 The Organizer reserves the right to amend, change, or delete any portion and/or all these terms and conditions without prior notice.
3. Refund
3.1 If payment has been made and the repair has not been conducted, a refund will be issued to the method used for payment of the screen glass replacement.
3.2 Once the screen glass replacement has been installed no refunds will be issued.
4. General Terms and Conditions
4.1 The Promotion is ongoing.
4.2 The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organisers.
4.3 The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
4.4 The Organisers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organisers notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
4.5 The Promotion, any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.
4.6 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organisers for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organisers Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers whatsoever.
4.7 In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.8 All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organisers, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.

4.10 South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
5. Disclaimer of Liability:
5.1 The Organiser will not be liable for any loss and/or damage to user records and/or data;
5.2 The Organiser will not be liable for consequential damages and/or losses arising from product damage (including, but not limited to, personal injury, loss of profits, loss of income, loss of reputation, loss of trust, moral damage, downtime, value of lost work time and any other consequential or incidental damages).
6. This Promotion will become invalid in any of the below cases:
a) The validity period of this Promotion has expired, being more than 30 (thirty) days from date of purchase of the Promotion and where the Promotion has been used within the validity period.
b) Participant’s device has been disassembled or repaired somewhere else other than HUAWEI ASCE.
c) Damage to Participant’s device is a result of mishandling and/or is caused by human factors.
d) The device must be assessed by an ASC Technician to participate. (no physical and/or liquid damage internally & externally.)
