The possible causes are as follows:
Certain operations were performed during screen recording
These operations include:
A call is made or answered, the Power button is pressed, the screen automatically turns off, the device enters PrivateSpace, the device switches to another user, Ultra power saving mode is enabled, Screen resolution is modified, or the SD card is removed (if the SD card is used for storing the recordings).
In HarmonyOS 3.0 or later, the default storage location cannot be set to the SD card.
The memory or storage of your device is insufficient
Perform the following:
- If your device does not have a memory card installed, clean up the device storage.
- If your device has a memory card installed, and it is used as the default storage location, clear the storage space of the microSD card (NM Card), and try again.
The screen recording stops when the screen is folded or unfolded
The resolution cannot be changed during screen recording. If your phone is folded or unfolded, the resolution will be automatically changed, and the screen recording will automatically stop. It is recommended that you fold or unfold your phone screen before screen recording.
