There is frame freezing or the audio and video are out of sync during video playback in Media

Problem:

When streaming a video in Media on the HUAWEI Vision, frame freezing occurs, or the audio and video are out of sync.

Cause:

The video resolution, frame rate, and bit rate may be high. Video decoding can use a large amount of CPU and memory resources. If the available space of the HUAWEI Vision is low or too many apps are running in the background, frame freezing and audio and video being out of sync may occur.

Solution:

Perform the following depending on your system version, then play the video again:

• HarmonyOS 2.0 & HarmonyOS 1.1:
  1. Cleanup: Go to All apps > Optimiser >Memory cleanup, then select the Boost option.
  2. Close background apps: Press and hold the button on the remote control to access the recent tasks screen, then follow the onscreen instructions to close background apps.
• HarmonyOS 1.0: Go to All apps > Optimiser >Memory cleanup, then select the Boost option.
