What is HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC

Considering the high maintenance cost for Huawei-branded PC expired from 1-year limited warranty, Huawei launches HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty, which extends the warranty for 1 year based on the the original period, to help you reduce the maintenance cost and provide quality service. During the extended warranty period, all warranty services will be available for the covered product.

Validity Period

The validity period will start from the date of purchase of the service to the date of expiration of 12-months term. The exact expiration time will be 24: 00 of the expiry day.

  • You can buy HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty from the same sales channel when purchasing eligible HUAWEI devices.
  • Conditions to repurchase from offline stores:
    • HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty can only be repurchased offline. You can repurchase extended warranty service in any HES and ASC. For details, please consult the store staff via Huawei hotline 1800-22-0086.
    • HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty can be repurchased within 10 months from the product e-warranty card activation date. If you are not sure how long it is since the product has been purchased, please contact Huawei hotline 1800-22-0086 to confirm it.
    • Product status: HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty repurchase is available to in-warranty products with no cosmetic defects, serious bending or deformation, unauthorized product disassembly or repair, liquid damage or collision according to the detection result by Huawei customer service center.
    • If you had received a free of charge Extended Warranty Service Product during “NO WORRIES” campaign, you are not eligible to purchase Extended Warranty Service Product.

Number-of-times Limit

HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC purchase will be available to each product (subject to the SN) for once.

  • The coverage of HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC will terminate automatically in any of the following situations:
    • The registered device is expired from the coverage validity period.
    • Accroding to the product detection, the registered product has been repaired or disassembled by unauthorized parties before.
    • It is proved that the product has been damaged on purpose for coverage claim.

Transfer

  • Since the purchased HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC is only applicable for the registered device (subject to the device SN), it cannot be transferred unless the registered device or device mainboard has been replaced. If you need coverage transfer service for other situations, please contact the seller for further information.
  • Validity period after coverage transfer: If the registered device has been replaced due to performance faults, the coverage can be transferred to the replacement device, the 1 year validity period will be continue counted same as old device.

Cancellation

  • Within 7 days of HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC, the coverage can be cancelled with the covered device return, if it has not been claimed yet, after which the coverage will be invalid. Please contact the seller for detailed information about the cancellation request.
  • For any other situations, HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC cancellation will be denied. Besides, the coverage is only available to the registered device, and it is not transferrable.

Reasons Why the Coverage Would be Denied

Services covered by HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty for PC would be denied when the product is at any one of the following situations:

The product has been reworked, disassembled or repaired by any unauthorized person.

Damage caused by injection of foreign matters, such as liquid, corrosion and insects.

Damage due to improper installation, use, maintenance, and storage, such as using third-party hardwares like data cable or adapter, installation of third-party software, improper testing, or the connection to a device which is not authorized by Huawei/Honor or not comaptible with the product.

Removed, damaged, or illegible product nameplate, SN barcode, and tamper tape.

Damage caused by force majeure (such as fire, earthquake, and flood).
