When I project my phone screen to an external display, why doesn't the projected display fit its screen?

Problem:

When a phone screen is projected to an external display, the projected display does not fit its screen, resulting in incomplete display of icons.

Cause:

The projected content is stretched on the external display, resulting in incomplete display.

Solutions:

Solution 1

Right-click on the desktop and select Adjust display from the menu to switch between full screen, small screen, and minimum screen.

Solution 2

Open the settings menu of the external display to adjust its display mode. The display mode settings may vary by device.

Below are three TV set examples for your reference:

Samsung: Press the Menu button on the remote control and go to the screen adjustment menu to adjust the display.
