Battery drains fast when I take photos, record videos, or make video calls |
Cause:
When you take photos, record videos, or make video calls, your phone needs to use both the camera and the screen, which are both power-intensive pieces of hardware.
Solution:
To prolong the phone's battery life:
- It is recommended that you use the built-in camera to take photos and record videos. The built-in camera is optimized to save power.
- If you do not need to obtain the specific shooting location of each photo, you can disable the geographical location function on the camera setting screen. In this case, the camera does not call the GPS and network location, saving power for your phone.
- Your phone screen is always on when you take photos, record videos, or make video calls. You can enable automatic brightness adjustment to save power.
- When you are not taking photos or recording videos, close the camera and lock the screen.
