My HUAWEI phone/tablet battery drains quickly after I enable Face Unlock

Problem:

After Face Unlock is enabled, the phone/tablet battery drains quickly.

Cause:

If you have enabled Face Unlock with Pick up or Wake device enabled by default, the screen will wake up and the camera will be enabled to start Face Unlock whenever you pick up your phone/tablet in standby mode. As a result, the battery drains quickly.

Solution:

1. It is recommended that you open Settings on your phone/tablet, search for "Wake device" or "Raise to wake", and disable this feature to reduce unnecessary power consumption due to screen turn-on when you pick up your phone/tablet. After disabling this feature, you can press the Power button to turn on the screen, and then perform Face Unlock.
