A payment app is launched when two phones touch each other

Problem:

1. When a HUAWEI phone touches another HUAWEI phone or NFC-enabled Android phone, a payment app such as Wallet or Google Pay is launched.
2. When a HUAWEI phone touches an iPhone, Apple Pay is launched on the iPhone.

Cause:

When NFC is enabled on the phone, the phone will emit field strength outward. When another NFC-enabled phone is within range, your phone will detect it as a POS device and launch a payment app. This is a normal occurrence for NFC.

Solution:

Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the menu, touch and hold the NFC icon to enter the settings screen. It is recommended that you set Default app (or Tap & pay) to your SIM card or others, instead of HUAWEI Wallet. Otherwise, the card binding screen will be displayed or you will be directed to a payment app such as HUAWEI Wallet or Google Pay.
