The battery level of my HUAWEI phone/tablet changes dramatically or the battery level display is abnormal |
If the battery level drops sharply or the display is abnormal when you are using your phone/tablet, perform the following steps for troubleshooting:
The battery level is not displayed in real time on the AOD screen
The battery level displayed on the lock screen may be different from that displayed after the screen is unlocked. This is a normal phenomenon.
The ambient temperature is too low
It is normal that the battery drains more quickly when running power-intensive apps (such as taking photos, recording videos, and playing games) at low temperatures. It is recommended that you use your device at an ambient temperature of 1°C to 35°C.
If your phone/tablet has just been powered on, has a low battery, or has been idle for a long time
Your phone/tablet may automatically calibrate its battery level, and the displayed battery level may be adjusted within a certain range. Your phone/tablet will return to normal after a few charge-discharge cycles. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your phone/tablet.
The battery is aged
This accelerates the deterioration of the battery. In this case, the battery level may decrease rapidly. For a better user experience, it is recommended that you replace the battery when the battery health is lower than 85%. You can call the Huawei customer service hotline or go to an authorized Huawei Service Center for assistance. If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device to a nearby customer service center for assistance.
